SUPREME COURT.
SENTENCES PASSED. (BY XELEQBAPH —PKESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, July 11. At the Supreme Court, John- William Pates and Elvin Laurence Larsen, for breaking and entering and theft at Te Kuiti, were each sentenced to reformative treatment, Larsen not exceeding three years and Pates not exceeding two years. Frederick Linton, a youth at present undergoing reformative treatment for a series of offences, appeared in respect of a charge of breaking and entering and theft in Christchurch. His Honor didi not add to the present sentence, saying he would leave it to the Prisons Board.
