PEDIGREE JERSEY SALE
PALMERSTON N., June 23. A saie of pedigree Jersey stock was held at Te Matai yesterday on account of Mr S. R, Lancaster. Buyers were present from all parts of the Nortn island, also oae from Melbourne, whose purchases were limited to two animals at a moderate figure. The top pricel of the sale was lbo guineas, paid by Mill. J. Lancaster for the heifer Golden Maiden. There was good competition fotr the better quality entries, A small proportion was passed in. The highest price tor a stud bu-11 was bo guineas.
