At- tlie Police Court;, Victor Kirner and James Scorringe, AVeraroa escapees, ! pleaded guilty and were committed for ; sentence to the Supreme Court at Wellington on two charges of breaking, I entering, and theft. Kirner had only \ been recommitted to Weraroa, following ! similar charges with another escapee at Palmerston North, when he again escaped.
