RAIN EXPECTED
The Government Meteorologist telegraphed to-day that the indications are for variable and strong breezes, but northerly winds, moderate to strong, prevailing and freshening. The weather appears likely to be cloudy aud unsettled with rain following. The barometer has a falling tendency. Seas moderate swell; tides poor.
