A meeting of members of the House -t)f Commons and House of Lords decided to revive the Compatriots' Club ■originally founded by Mr. Joseph •Chamberlain. It consists of members in favour of the adoption of a system of Imperial preference. It is thought that in view of the forthcoming Imperial conference the present will be a suitable time for its revival. Lord Selborne will be president.—Times. i
