The keeper of a menagerie purchased three lions at Rotterdam, but was unable to get them to' Paris "owing to the Belgian railway strike. He hired a Goliath aeroplane, which brought- the lioness and two cubs safely to France, j The animals were quite comfortable UJ-J-o Xii- <-v j-~uiivoy.
