The French troops have occupied the railway stations at Herne, Wanne, Gilsenkirchen. Kartenherg, and Altenessen, which have been closed, thus putting out of action the last important railway line in the Ruhr. The German railwaymen refused an offer to continue work and some have been expelled, while the remainder .are at present locked up in the waiting -rooms.- — Reuter.
