Beaumont Pease {Institute of Bankers) agreeing to act es an advisory committee for the purpose of drawing up a programme for the Imperial Economic Conference, and giving Sir P. Lloyd-Graeme counsel j while the conference is sitting. It was pointed out that it was im|K>rtant that Sir P. Lloyd-Graeme should have other advisers than the permanent officials of +?ie Board of Trade, who cannot possibly have such an Intimate touch with trade and commerce as the men daily engaged therein. The committee will meet three weeks hence in order to discuss the preliminary programme for the conference.
