The New South Wales Rugby League -endorsed the New Zealand League's -disqualification imposed on Tancred, who is desirous of playing for the Balmain League. The endorsement is purely a formal action between the New South Wales and New Zealand bodies. Tancred was informed that he should approach the New Zealand League for the removal of the ban before seeking to play in Australia.
