WATERSIDER'S ESTATE.

(BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) j AUCKLAND, April 1. * Unexpected wealth was revealed in the estate of a watersider, whose deceased estate is being administered by the Public Trustee. Deceased occupied a room in a lodging-house, and the police at his death discovered £14 in cash and savings bank accounts valued at about £1400. Subsequently the trustee's officials found deposit receipts and war loan certificates* of a total value of approximately £-3000 secreted in a tin containing provisions. Deceased was apparently well educated and widely travelled. It is not thought that he had any relatives in New Zealand.
