The Wanganui Bowling Centre's Christmas tourney reached the semifinal stage yesterday, when nine rinks were left in—Gellatly and Gordon (St. Johns), Foster, McLeod, McFarlane and Tilley (Wanganui), Ramsay and Steel (Gonville), and Lobb (West End). As a result of the first two rounds Foster, Lobb, McFarlane, Tilley and Gellatly were knocked out, leaving Ramsay to meet Gordon and MeLeod to meet Steel.
