LAND SETTLEMENT.
SYDNEY, Dec. 29. It is expected that Cabinet will adopt a land settlement scheme in the New Year, under which, large estates adjacent to railways will be resumed. The Government proposes to raise three millions by loan debentures to enable the Government Savings Bank to mak<» the necessary advances.
