As interest rat^s are, on the down, grade (the first reduction of bank rateis announced for Ist January next), am investment which gives a return of 7 per cent, free of income tax is one that will strongly recommend itself to investors. Those who take up Preference Shares in this issue are entitled. to participate equally with ordinaryshareholders in any surplus profit that remains after ordinary shareholders; have received 7 per cent. The net assets of the Company are valued at £31,093 8s 4d, which meansthat the issue of £16,000 Preference Shares will be secured by practically £2 for every £ invested. The shareholders have so much faith in the concern that they have already subscribed £4500 towards the present issue. The advertisement will be found on page 5.
