JOINING POLITICAL FORCES.
MELBOURNE, Oct. 20. Representatives of the Country Party, Liberal Union, and Australasian Legion j agreed to complete a scheme for the I co-ordination of their forces at the ! coming elections. Candidates for the metropolis will be known as Progressive Liberals, whilst the party will suport Country candidates in the rural districts. Parliament will be dissolved on November 6.
