I A RECORD ATTENDANCE. (BY TELEGRAPH—-PEESS ASSOCIATION.) HASTINGS, Oct. 20. Favoured with fine weather, the attendance at the show on People's Day-easily constituted a record, the computation being that 20,000 were i present. Additional championship awards are:-— Horses —Draught mar 4: Donald's Estate (Featherston), champion; Moore Hunter Estate, Hawera, reserve. Clydesdale : Donald's Estate, champion. Union Company's Cup, best Clydesdale mare or filly: Donald Estate. Best working draught: George Leslie (Hastings). Milking Shorthorn bull and cow — Mrs. W. J. Wall, champion. The Hastings carnival week provides j one continuous round of merriment, ' and the open air sports last night in . the park were a huge success.
