Many will learn with, regret of the death, at the Public Hospital last night of Neil A. McArthur, whoi was a member of the Hawera Post Office staff. About three months ago Mr. McAi'thur was taken to the hospital, suffering from appenticitis, and after two months he returned to his duties at the Post Office. On the 25th of last month he look ill again, and was getting on well until about two days ago, jyhen he suffered from a relapse, and he collapsed at 5.30 p.m. yesterday. His death is greatly regretted by his fellowworkers and all who knew him. His home is in Waimate, in the South Island.
