•■ The death of Beatrice Annjs, wife of Mr. G. W. Sharp, of Kapuni, took ; place at her residence at Kapuni last Sunday (reports our Manaia correspondent). The deceased was very highly esteemed by all who knew her for her very kindly and charitable disposition She was a very devoted mother and wife Mr and "Mrs. Sharp came to the laranaki district many years ae;o from the province of Nelson, and were for a number of years farming at Inaha, where they were held in high esteem by the people of Inaha and Manaia. The husband and five children are left. The funeral is to leave her late residence this afternoon for the Kaponga cemetery. * The greatest sympathy is extended to Mr. Sharp and family from their many friends at j Kapuni, Inaha and Manaia in their j very sad bereavement.
