At a special meeting of the Manaia Town Board, held on Tuesday night, it was decided that the following rates, be struck for the ensuing term: A general rate of l_d in the £,' sanitary rate of _d in the £, special Main South Road rate of £d in the £, halt rate of 11-32 din the £, hospital and charitable aid rate of 11-64 din the £. There should, be a record house to witness the screening of the master -drama "Way Down "East," to be .produced in Manaia Town Hall to-night (Thursday). It is spoken of as an extra special star production. I
