AN UNFORTUNATE WOMAN. (BY TELEGRAPH —PREBB ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, Oct. 19. The woman over whose detention in the Avondale asylum a good deal of discussion took place recently, after strenuous protests by the Rev.. Mr. Mason, of Otahuhu, was to-day recommitted to the mental hospital ai insame by the magistrate. A lodging-house-keeper gave evidence as to the extraordinary delusions held by the woman, and the local constable said the woman was certainly insane. Medical men certified as to the woman's insanity.
