Belgium also wants a postponement beyond the American Presidential election in order to seek United States participation. Le Matin agrees that the conference should not toe held during ths British election, and say* France will only consent to postponement provided no decision is taken which would prejudice a solution of the problem.—Aus.-N.Z.
