Jerry Sullivan won from Mcßride on a foul in the third round.

SYDNEY, Oct. 15

Hughie Dwyer defeated Sid Godfrey for the lightweight championship on points in a twenty-round bout, after a, fast and clever contest. Godfrey, at the tenth round, was well behind on points. He then forced the fight and almost knocked Dwyer out, but the latter, by brilliant ringcraft, recovered and sustained the lead to the end.
