4-THE MAN UNDER COVER."
1 Not every day in the year is there a chance to see a picture like "The Man Under Cover,'' the Universal special attraction at the Opera House tonight, which represents Herbert Rawlinson in the starring role. It is a story of crooks written by a man who ' has rubbed elbows with them for fifteen years. He is Louis Victor Eytinge, a "lifer" in the Arizona State Prison. He gathered his material at close range and told a story that has • a vital message. Herbert Rawlin- , son's athletic ability and smiling personality mark him as just the type for . a crook picture star. Opposite Rawlinson Barbara Bedford contributes an- . other to her many characterisations, jas the heroine of the story. George Hernandez, George Webb, William Courtwright, Willis "Marks, Ed. Tilton and Gerald Pring handle other important parts. Captain John C. Fremont, one of the greatest figures in American history, was a terror to Indians, '■ from the plains east of the Rockies to . the Papinc Coast. He led his hardy | troops to the rescue of many bands of settlers, besieged by scalp-hunting In- ' dians, while travelling to the goldfields of California by prairie schooners. I Just such a rescue, led in person by 1 the doughty explorer-soldier, is to be , seen at the Opera House to-night, when , the third instalment of "Winners of , the West" will be shown. A splendid j Universal comedy will also be presented. Prices remain as usual.
