MELBOURNE, Oct. 14. The Sugar Bill was passed through all stages in the Senate. Is the House the Minister for Customs announced that sugar would be reduced to 5d from November 1. . The Joint Committee on Public Acpunts, in an interim report, states that £26 per ton would be a sufficient price for raw sugar, which could be" retailed at £42 per ton or 4£d per pound.
