PRICE FOR LAMB FOB EXPORT.
(By Telegraph—Special to Star.) WELLINGTON, Oct. 13. Mr. 0. J. Hawken, member for Egmont, gave the Star correspondent information which will be received with satisfaction by farmers. Reports have reached him that in Canterbury offers are being made of 8d per lb overall for lambs for January, February and March delivery, and peliss are firming^ in price. These indications are promising for the opening- of the killing season.
