RESIGNATION OF MR. SLADE
(by telegraph--press association.) WELLINGTON,, Oct. 13. Another ■ rift in the Rugby Union lute has been disclosed by the resignation of Mr. Slade (chairman of the management committee of the New Union). His action is a sequel "io exception being taken to arranging * match between Auckland and Wel- " without calling a regular meeting of the committee.
