SHEEPSKINS, HIDES, AND TALLOW SALE.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Wellington, report:, The usual fortnightly sale was held on Friday, and there, was a good attendance of buyers. There was good demand for sheepskins at an advance of to |d on last sales' rates. The competition for hides was good, and heavy sorts showed an advance of £d to |d per lb, arid light damaged'" hides and calfskins were on a par with last sale's prices. Tallow sold readily at an advance of from Is to 2s per cwt. Sheepskins:.
