BRITISH RELIEF FOR REFUGEES.
ITALY AND THE AGREEMENT WITH M: VENIZELOS.
Received Oct. 12, 8.45 a.m - LONDON, Oct., 11. The All British Fund is sending a trainload of supplies to the Smyrna reafugees,'of whom there are now 520,000 in Greece, 132,000 at Mafca, 2700 at Crete, and 15,000 at Cyprus. The Morning Post's Rome correspondent states that Signor Scn'anzer denounced the agreement with M. Venizelos hi regard to .the Aegean Islands. Italy now considers herself freed from ' pledges regarding the restitution of the Islands to Greece in view of the impossibility of the latter fulfilling her •undertakings regarding compensations due to Italy.—Aus.-N.Z.
