Santos Dumont, one of the first airmen, and who is now cattle ranching in Brazil, is visiting Paris, and is participating in the Aero Club's Grand Prix on the 15th. Although declaring that his flying days are over, he is still keenly interested in air matters, and thinks that his tiny demoiselle was the right idea, and that had the constructors endeavoured to perfect small and very light machines flying would now be a most popular sport.
