THE CANBERRA STRIKE
SYDNEY, May 2. Mr. Hughes agreed to a request of a. -deputation that the strikers at Canberra return to work on the conditions ruling prior to Easter, rates and hours to be referred to a tribunal for decision, which will be accepted by either party.
