With regard to the Arbitration Court s. order In. the coal mines award, it is, important /to note that this order aas no effect whatever on the general issue tf wage reduction now before the M>urt m Wellington, being merely an order giving legal eff&t.to a special provision m the coal mines awards made six months ago, whereby a revision of wages is to be made upon the statistical information which the Court has received from the Government Statistician and announced in the order now made. *
