The Government Meteorologist. telegraphed that for the 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day the indications are for south-easterly moderate to strong winds; the weather will probably prove cold and showery; the night will probably be very cold; the barometer has a rising tendency; seas moderate swell; tides poor.
