The Pall Mall Gazette states that, notwithstanding Sir Ross Smith's tragedy, plans are well advanced for another air flight round the world. The pilot will be a former R.A.F. officer, now employed by the Air Ministry. A specially designed flying boat of huge dimensions is to be built, and the route proposed is westwards, starting from Lisbon, thence to the Azores, across ' North America, Honolulu, Manilla, Calcutta, and Cairo.
