HEAVY DEATH ROLL
BY CABLE-PEESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT MADRID, April 26. A fire broke out at Malaga at 1 a.m. in a building occupied by a number of Government departments. The upper stories, housing subordinate officials, were cut off, and several families perished. The fire brigade was powerless. It is feared the conflagration will spread to the ground floor, where munitions for the African army are stored. The death roll is between fifty and sixty. A number lost their lives by jumping from windows. The fire is still burning. MADRID, April 27. The dynamite store at Malaga exploded and wrecked public buildings over an extensive area. Twenty-five dead have been recovered. The majority of them are officials or members of employees' families.
