The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated April 22, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London:

Meat. Lamb.—Moderate demand, and best quality remains firm. Second-class quality slightly weaker in competition with Australian. Mutton demand re-, mains good, and prices same as last quotations. Beef market weaker.
