FINANCIAL
GOVERNMENT LOAN
(BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, April 19. "The Government," stated the Prime Minister to-day, "is arranging to place a loan of £5,000,000 in London. While arrangements are not yet completed, so far as they, have gone they are very satisfactory." in reply to questions, Mr Massey said he could not say anything more about the loan at the present stage, not even as to the rate of interest or the price at which it was hoped to float it. As soon as the loan was floated the public would know all there was to know about it.
