(From Our Cfcwn (Correspondent.) A serious fir© ■occurred on Wednesday, when the residence of .Mr. Gilshnan was burnt io tfche ground. The origin of the fire -is ■.& mystery, as nobody was at home ; at the time. Mr. Gilshnan being e<ssb and his wife having just taken out his tea to him. On returnimg ifce ifound the place ■in flames. The property is owned by Messrs King and Barrington, Mr. Gilshrian is a heayy iloser, as all his effects were destroyed., and he only had an insurance of £I 5& -in the Government office.
