TYPHOID EPIDEMIC.
(by telegraph-—press association.; AUCKLAND, April 17. An epidemic of typhoid, which the health officer says ds :quite serious, has occurred in the Moimt Albert district. There are 29 cases reported. Indications point to the local water supply Deing the cause. The authorities are" taking stringent saeaswres ?to cope with the trouble.
