COMMERCIAL TRAVELLERS.
(Received April 18, 12.40 p.m.) HOBART, April 18. The Australian Commercial Travellers' Conference carried a resolution, approving of the appointments of trade •commissioner being decided by a conference representative of commercial jbodies. It also pledged itself to assist 3>he Commonwealth and State Governments in the settlement of new over«eas settlers, especially from the British Isles and the Dominions. Mr Meadows, •of Queensland, was chosen president, ;iand the nest conference was fixed for ,Brisbane.'
