The, Govenment Meteorologist telegraphed that for the 24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day the indications are for southerly winds, moderate to strong. Weather probably coo! and changeable, with scattered showers. Rain probable. __ 'The night will probably be very cold, "~ but the weather should improve soon, fr" Barometer rising slowly. Seas considerable ; tides good. "
