MONDAY AND TUESDAY. I An entirely new combination of performers—known by the novel title of j "QPs" (an abbreviation of Quality Per. formers) will make their first appearance here on Monday. Every item in their | programme is suitably dressed and rec«?»ves an appropriate setting. The perj formers are all thorough artists in their i respective spheres. The vocalists are supported by an orchestra of talented! players. There will be various melodies j and harmonies, introducing ukeles, mandolins, steel guitars, banjos, violins, I flute, piccolo, cornet, trombone, xylophone, chimes, tubes and other instruments. The personnel of the company includes three comedians, a male quartette, five talented ladies, an orchestra, and a jazz band. Among the vocalists I i the company has Mr Aneiirin J. Morris, I | the Walsh-Australian lyric tenor, and! ; Miss Hazel Fuller, the New Zealand so- | 1 prano, both of whom have won pnenu-! | menal popularity in Sydney. The comI pany has just completed a phenomenally \ j successful six weeks' season in Auck-! land. A very genuine claim to public appreciation is possessed by South wood's English Quality Performers. The Wei-1 Ungton press were equally of the opinion ] that this company is the best of its kind ever seen in New Zealand. The DominI ion, commenting on the opening performance, says: "The "QPe" is the be&t all-round modern costume comedy company seen in Wellington."
