— «_ —;—___■ ■-: - The war trophies exhibition in the Winter Show Buildings continues to, attract a large number of visitors. About,:4oo children from the Hawera' and Tokaora public schools and the Hawera, Convent School were among those who attended yesterday. There! I was no little excitement last night! when two returned soldiers, both local "residents, discovered their. own photo- _' graphs among the large collection on! view. One was a well-known V.M.C.A.! secretary. Mr. A. West, late N.Z. M.G.C, gave a demonstration with a1 machine-gun during the evening, arid to-night Mr. L.
