WEDDING

ROBERTSON—SARGENT

A quiet but pretty. wedding took place at St. John's Church. Otakeho, on September 7, when Miss Kathleen Sargent, third daughter'of Mri and Mrs. James Sargent, of North1 Hill, Launceston, England, and Mr. Harry Robertson, of Normanby, were united in the holj bonds of matrimony. The Rev. Mr. Swainson officiated. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of hei uncle, Mr. R. Stenlake, looked charming in a gown of white crepe de chine, with a. veil and orange blossoms. Miss Evelyn Stenlake (cousin of the bride) and Miss Mara Mackie, both wearing cream voile frocks and black picture hats, acted as bridesmaids. The bride and bridesmaids carried bouquets to harmonise with their frocks. Little Misses Eileen and Alice Espiner attended .as floweir girls, daintily dressed in pink crepe de chine and hats to match. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Catchford, of Wanganui. Mrs. Stenlake, aunt of the bride, wore a navy costume and smart black hat. Mrs. Mackie played the wedding march. The wedding breakfast was partaken of at the residence of the bride's uncle, Taikatu road, after which the bridal party were photographed. Mr. and Mrs. Robertson then left for their new home in Wanganui.
