HOCKEY BALL

(From Our Own Correspondent.) The combined (ladies and gents) Hockey Club ball was held last nighf "t Hall, the hall being nicely filled. Ihe hall was nicely decorated with bunting and evergreens, the hockey colours being shown nicely fo advantage. The Norden Cup and the faranalu champion cup and shield were 7» M view, of which the cup and shield have won this year by the l^ltham Club and the Norden Cup by the raranaki team. Messrs Henrick™n < Miller, Phillip and Freethey _were M.C. s, and the music was supplied by McCarty's orchestra.
