DEATH OF A CYCLIST *_ CORONER'S COMMENT ON RIDING WITHOUT LIGHTS AT NIGHT. f DANNEVIRKE, July 11. I At the inquest into the death of Lucy Willan, who died on the 29th Ju«e as the result of injuries received in a collision with another cyclist, the evidence showed that deceased and her Blister were riding without lights, and the former was run into by a male cyclist who also did not have a light. A verdict was returned that death was due to fracture of the base of the skull. The Coroner strongly commented upon the practice of people ridinjf bicycles and driving motor cars and vehicles after dark without lights.
