The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., have received the following cablegram their London house, under date' 6th inst.: Tallow —We quote present spot values for the following descriptions: Fine mutton, £1 16s per cwt.; good beef £1 17s 6d; mixed, £1 9s, Frozen mutton, s£d to BJd per lb. Frozen lamb, Is l£d per lb. Frozen beef —Price unchanged and market slow. Last quotations: Hind quarters, s§d; fore quarters, 3|d per lb; New Zealand butter, £9 16s per cwt. Market firm with upward tendency. Cheese—Good demand. White, £5 15s per cwt.; coloured, £5 10s.
