-* ONLY ONE PERSON HURT. An accident occurred at- ab o ut »» o clock last night in Glover r oa d between two motor cycles, o ne ridden by J. YV Alexander and the other by Vincent Marcmovic. When leaving the football match on Saturday afternoon a slight collisi O tt> occurred between two cars. It appears, that a car driven by William Parkewas backed up against the kerbing'o? the footpath during £he match, and*a*' the time of leaving had difficulty in: getting up on the centre of the i*oa<i through the back wheels skidding • n the soft ground. After being in this position for some little time the ca*" suddenly "gripped," shot forward an<l collided -with* a car driven by Mr -K. Masters, M.P. Another collision which m<iy have resulted in a serious accident occurred' near the "silent policeman" at Princes--. street intersection on Saturday evening. A gig containing three persons, came into'contact with a motor carcoming in the opposite direction, and »> lady, who was one of the occupants o* the gig, was thrown out. But for the* timely action of two gentlemen who--held the horse and rescued tn e lady from beneath the gig, a serious accident may have occurred. The lafiy was. ■taken away in a car, but was subse*quently found to be unliarmed.
