THE WEATHER
The Government Meteorologist telegraphed to-day as follows: The indications are for westerly winds, strong to gale, and backing by west to south. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled; rain probable, and will likely become colder. Barometer rising soon; seas considerable; tides good.
