Roberts, w'Ho said Canada's export and import trade in 1920 totalled £605,000,000, This was three times that of Australia., while the figures for New Zealand lor 1920 were Only £83,000,000. Contrary to. what Ke had imag'ned; Canada's principal exports consisted cf manufactured goods, the value of which in 1920. was £140,000,000. Canada's exports of agricultural produce in 1920, were valued at £117,000,000. There was one thing, however, in which Canada was behind both Australia and New Zealand, and that was in sheep. The number of sheen in Australia was 72,00(?,tf60, - and "the number in New Zealand was 26,000,000, but the figures for Canada were only 3,000,000.
