UY CABLE—PRESS ASSUUIVTION—COPYRIGHT
SYDNEY, July 5
The Ligouri case was continued to- j day. The day was mostly occupied hy j the examination of witnesses in regard , to plaintiff's sanity. I Dr. Binns said that,, after a thorough | examination of Sister Ligouri when she arrived in Sydney, she .impressed him as being rather reserved, unsophisticated, and a mentally normal person. Tie expressed the opinion that her story «f ;attempted murder in the convent was a very exaggerated deduction for Iter to make, but it did not indicate insanity. The Government medical officer (Dr, G'ib'bs) also gave evidence that, after having her under observation for five days 'in a reception house, he saw no iaraees of insanity.
