MELBOURNE, July.3. The National Hurdles race resulted: Fiacom 9.3 (Doy) 1, Gold Coin 10.7 (Heron) 2, Telcles 10.3 (Boyd) 3. There were eighteen starters. Telcles blundered at the last jump and Fiscom got to the front and raced/ rieck and' neck with Telcles, when Gold Coin also threw out a challenge. The three horses we*almost on terms at the distance and in a desperate finish Fiscom won by -° head, a neck separating the second and third horses. Time, smin. 35is?ec—a record.
